Call Out the Co-Worker?

In this shiteous economy, when you have co-worker who is not pulling their weight, do you: 1) just let it go, suck it up and do all of the work and be happy that you are employed or 2) look like a douche for calling them out during your yearly review, potentially making you look like a bigger asshole than them?

  1. Ugh. I would guess review not the best time to bring it up. But, it should be brought up. Maybe at the review say you wish to discuss the work load in the department when this is all said and done so you’re more clear on what your responsibilities are? That way you can explain that you thought things your co-worker is asking you to do isn’t your responsibility. Just my two cents. What do I know?
